The Pocket Rocket 2 has a slightly wider pot support area compared to the Amicus, but I find the Amicus more stable. The Amicus has four pot stands and the Pocket Rocket 2 has the typical three arm configuration. They retail for about the same at $40 and $45 respectively. The Soto Amicus (without ignitor) weighs 72g/2.53oz and the Pocket Rocket 2 weighs 74g/2.61oz. The two stoves that generally get recommended in this category is the Soto Amicus and the Pocket Rocket 2.
But, if you are like me and plenty of other people and have experienced the BRS in any type of wind or others who have had the arms melt, then you may want to consider a better option. If you want the absolute lightest canister stove, then by all means get a BRS. These UL options are cheap and very light but, they leave a lot to be desired in build quality and performance. The typical UL options are the infamous BRS-3000T titanium stove which weighs 25g/.88oz or the FMS-116T (also known as Olicamp Kinetic Ultra) which weighs 48g/1.69oz. There is a case to be made for stoves that are a bit heavier than the absolute lightest in exchange for superior build quality, reliability, performance in adverse conditions and safety.
